FINE LINES AND WRINKLES
Laser treatments have already been proven to decrease fine lines and wrinkles successfully as well as reverse the symptoms of aging. At the Women’s Institute of Cosmetic & Laser Surgery, we offer technology that brings back the vibrant, younger look and refreshes the skin. The Women’s Institute of Cosmetic & Laser Surgery uses laser technology to be able to successfully reach the reset button and reverse the signals of getting older for our patients. We assist our patients in decrease wrinkles and skin laxity, with virtually no downtime. Micro-pulses of light are emitted from the laser to stimulate and remodel collagen creating the skin to look smoother, tighter and younger. The laser’s quick pulses of laser light both heat the treated layer of skin and create columns of micro-damage stretching down into the dermal layer. These small columns of tissue damage start the healing process and promote growth of a connective tissue that helps the skin recognized as collagen. Collagen creation boosts skin volume and softens wrinkle lines, giving you a more youthful appearance. Schedule a consultation at the Women’s Institute of Cosmetic & Laser Surgery today.
How is the Women’s Institute of Cosmetic & Laser Surgery different than most when it comes to Cosmetic Laser Procedures-?
- At the Women’s Institute of Cosmetic & Laser Surgery all of our Cosmetic Laser Procedures are done by a registered nurse. The educational requirement to become a registered nurse is a Nursing Degree from an accredited University / College of Nursing.
- Most of our competitors use Aestheticians. Some of Illinois requirements to become an Aesthetician are; Have a valid Illinois Cosmetology License, be at least 16 years of age, have a minimum 8th grade education and complete at least 750 hours of training. If they have not completed high school or do not have a GED, they must pass an, “Ability to Benefit” test.
- Although there are many good and well qualified aestheticians out there, the Women’s Institute of Cosmetic & Laser Surgery has chosen to only allow College Educated Registered Nurses to perform all of our laser procedures. We feel that the more medical education one has, the higher the likelihood of recognizing potential health problems.
- At the Women’s Institute all of our lasers are medical grade. Our lasers are setup with the ability to use maximum strength settings for our Registered Nurses to utilize.
