What is Botox?

Botox is a facial injectable that is used to temporarily reduce or eliminate facial wrinkles. It is a cosmetic form of botulinum toxin type A, and helps to eliminate or reduce wrinkles on the face. Botox is most commonly used to treat forehead lines, crow’s feet (lines around the eyes), and frown lines.

A good candidate for Botox is someone who has:

  • Creases on the forehead
  • Lines around the eyes
  • Frown lines between the eyes
  • Vertical lines around the mouth
